Northern Ireland Prime Minister to Resign Amid Dissatisfaction with Brexit Settlement

Share Entrepreneurs Still Not Prepared for Brexit

Some of the entrepreneurs in Europe are still not prepared for the impact of Brexit.

According to a poll by the Chamber of Commerce (KVK), almost a fifth of entrepreneurs themselves indicates that their preparation is inadequate.

More than three in ten respondents stated that they were well prepared for the British departure from the European Union. And half said they were somewhat prepared.

The Chamber of Commerce questioned a total of 244 entrepreneurs who do business directly with the United Kingdom. The researchers note that the result of the poll is more or less the same as a poll taken a year ago.

The British and the European Union (EU) are still negotiating in an attempt to reach a trade agreement before January 1, 2021. Whether that agreement comes in or not, according to experts, Brexit will undoubtedly have an impact on doing business with Great Britain from January 1.

Entrepreneurs who have not yet done so are therefore advised to obtain information via the Brexit desk of the Chamber of Commerce and the government.
