A US Judge Has Temporarily Blocked Defense Contract for Microsoft
A US judge has temporarily blocked a major defense contract for software company Microsoft.
Technology company Amazon, which also competed for the contract, complains that the tender was not conducted relatively because President Trump was involved.
Both Microsoft and Amazon made a bid for the JEDI contract. That’s a $ 10 billion job for delivering heavily secured cloud systems for the Pentagon.
Amazon claims never to have had a fair chance through political games. It is known that US President Donald Trump sees Amazon’s top man, Jeff Bezos, as a political enemy.
Amazon already filed a lawsuit in November for missing the contract. The American web store giant submitted a request to be allowed to interrogate Trump. In the meantime, the project is being put in the refrigerator.
