Amazon Is Releasing A Free Music Streaming Service

Amazon is Releasing a free Music streaming service for Alexa. Amazon has released a free version of its music streaming service, Amazon Music Unlimited, the company announced in a blog post on Friday.

The free version of the service is currently only available to American users of voice assistant Alexa.

For example, the music can be played with the Echo speaker.

Last week insiders already reported that Amazon was working on a free version.

With this, the company would like to compete better with the music service Spotify.

Just like that streaming service, the free version of Amazon Music Unlimited plays advertisements between songs.

The service costs typically between 3.99 dollars and 9.99 dollars per month, depending on the plan.

There is also a family subscription for 14.99 dollars a month.

The free alternative offers two million numbers.

The full range of Amazon Music Unlimited consists of 50 million songs.

Nothing is known about an extension to other countries.
