Drake Responds to Drama Astroworld: My Heart is Broken

Canadian rapper Drake, who also took the stage on Friday during fellow rapper Travis Scott’s performance in Houston that killed 8 people, has responded to the drama for the first time.

Drake made a guest appearance during Travis Scott’s concert at the Astroworld festival. “I’ve been trying to understand that devastating tragedy in recent days,” the rapper said on Instagram.

“My heart is broken for the families and friends of those who lost their lives and for all who suffer. I will continue to pray for them and be of service in any way I can.”

The jostling during the operation killed 8 people and injured at least 300 people. Scott has been heavily criticized for the drama, particularly for singing while the unconscious bodies were cleared from the crowd.

Several concertgoers have already filed a lawsuit against Scott and Drake.
