Rabbis Ask Emoji Council For Jewish Emojis

Read Time:30 Second

Rabbis ask Emoji council for Jewish Emojis. The Conference of European Rabbis (CER) made a call on Tuesday to the emoji regulating Unicode Consortium to use Jewish emojis, according to the reports.

The Orthodox Jewish rabbis want Unicode to add emojis of men with kippah and women with traditional Jewish head cover.

The organization complains that there are emojis of women with a headscarf,

but that “the Jews have forgotten”.

It would be necessary for “equality and ending discrimination” to introduce the emojis.

“The WhatsApp application is used daily by millions of citizens worldwide,

 including many young people.”
