Russia Receives First Information About Proposed Ceasefire Ukraine

Russia has received the first information from the United States about a proposed ceasefire in Ukraine. The Kremlin reports that more information will follow in talks that are expected to take place in the coming days.

A Kremlin spokesperson confirms that American negotiators are on their way to Russia without sharing details. American President Donald Trump already said on Wednesday that a team was on its way.

Trump’s envoy, Steve Witkoff, is among those expected in Russia. According to the Russian state news agency TASS, which bases its report on information from aircraft tracker Flightradar, his plane has arrived in Moscow.

The United States has proposed a thirty-day ceasefire. Ukraine has already agreed to this plan. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wants the truce to create a broader peace plan.
