Several Tesla Employees have Officially Asked Elon Musk to Step Down

Several Tesla employees have officially asked Elon Musk to step down, confirming that the car manufacturer is struggling with a huge demand problem that they attribute to their CEO.

An employee was also fired for his opposition to Musk. The American news site Electrek, which was also reported by BNR, reported this.

Electrek is generally well informed about the manufacturers of electric cars. According to the site, there is a growing tendency among Tesla employees to acknowledge that Musk is harming Tesla’s mission to accelerate the transition to electric transport. They accuse the CEO of driving away Tesla customers by politicising the manufacturer’s products.

According to Electrek, a group of employees wrote in an open letter, “We are now at a crossroads: continue with Elon as CEO and risk further decline as customers turn their backs on the brand, or move forward without him and let our products and mission succeed or fail on their own.”
