Today We’d Like to Introduce You to Miki Dutta

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some facts about you and your story. In what way did you get to where you are today?

I was born in Bangladesh, our family was struggling at that time, but we had a very hard working ethics. My dad then saved up some money and sent me and my sister to London, UK for better education.

Moved to London at young age, was looking after my mom and sister while studying. The day I turned to 18, I got my first job. My first job was as a sales executive for bank. It was about 90 min away by train each way, but I was so excited to have a job, didn’t mind the 3 hours of total journey. Sales is never easy, I used to be an introvert person, so going up to people and try to sell them credit cards were pretty daunting task. But I kept on doing it, eventually it became just normal.

While working, I saved up some money and from that money I started selling products on ebay, it was the early days in ebay. It was a great success, however, it also had a downside, I was so busy working, it effected my studies so I had to retake that year again.

Since that start, I was a personal trainer, life coach, fashion designer etc. Had many ups and downs. But found my feet in the real estate industry. It started when me and my mom built a flat by ourselves, since then I carried on in that industry.

I’m sure your success has not come effortlessly. What challenges have you had to overwhelmed along the way?

There have been numerous challenges on the way which I had to overcome, stress, people letting you down, people getting jealous of your success, work life balance, cash flow management etc.

Let’s dialogue about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should somebody work with you over the competition?

We specialize in sourcing land or properties and then doing developments, whether its remodeling the property or building a complete new home or various flats. People should work with us instead of our competitors because, we also invest our own money as well, so we always have some skin in the game, we are up front and honest.

What’s your best piece of guidance for readers who desire to find success in their life?

My best piece of advice for the readers will be, be honest in life and work, unfortunately honesty is becoming extreme rare now a days. Also, work hard and long, don’t count hours or min or days, just keep on working, success will originate if you don’t give up.

What’s next for you?

I am diversifying my businesses, not only I am in real estate, I am also in luxury industry and soon will be in beauty industry too. As for real estate, I am looking to take on even bigger projects and bigger challenges.
