Boris Johnson: Signs of Second Coronavirus Wave in Some Countries
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson says he sees signs of a possible second corona wave in some European countries.
Johnson said on Tuesday that Britain would take measures to impose quarantines on visitors to other countries as coronavirus infections increase and such measures become necessary.
The Prime Minister said this after the United Kingdom imposed quarantine measures for visits to Spain.
The measure also applies to the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands.
Johnson: “I’m afraid when we see signs of a second wave in other countries.
It is really our job, our duty, to act quickly and decisively to prevent travellers from coming back from those places and spreading the disease here in the UK. “
