Victoria Koblenko and Tim Douwsma in Horse film Britt Dekker. Victoria Koblenko, Tina de Bruijn and Tim Douwsma shine this fall alongside Britt Dekker and her horse George in the new horse film Whitestar.
Richelle Plantinga, Pim Wessels and Daniël Boissevain, among others, also make their appearance,
 Just Film Distribution and 2CFILM announced on Thursday.
Britt makes her acting debut in Whitestar with her beloved horse George, the stallion she received as a gift from John de Mol.
Together they play the lead roles in the film, which can be seen in Dutch cinemas from 9 October.
The horse connoisseur is also closely involved in the production of the family film.
Michiel Peereboom writes the screenplay and the direction is in the hands of Jamel Attache, known for being in love!
The film tells the story of a special bond between the rider Britt and the discarded jumping horse Whitestar, played by George.
The animal appears to have unique talents and is taken away from Britt to ride competitions.
That is not a success. Only when the horse and rider are together again,
 they bring out the best in each other, and the fungus turns out to be a real winner.
