The Lowest Number of Deaths in Spain Since March 24
The number of deceased corona patients in Spain increased by 637 in 24 hours on Monday, the lowest number since March 24.
It is the fourth consecutive day that the number of deaths is decreasing. The number of deceased patients compared to the total number of people infected with the coronavirus is also reducing in severely affected Spain.
It is now 5.1 percent. On Saturday, that was 7.3 percent, Spanish media report.
The numbers confirm a flattening, says the Emergency Medical Coordination Center. Almost a third of the registered patients, more than 40,000 people, have now been cured.
The percentage of people who get better is increasing. Spain now has more than 13,000 deaths from the virus diagnosed in more than 135,000 people.
