A 51-year-old man disguised as a police officer shot at least 18 people in the Canadian town of Portapique. Among them is a police officer.
The local authorities have announced this. It is the deadliest shooting ever in Canada.
For a long time, it was unclear exactly how many victims the man had made because people were shot in several places.
The gunman himself, 51-year-old Gabriel Wortman, also died, Canadian media report.
The police could not yet say anything about the motive of the 51-year-old dentist, who raged in police clothes and a car disguised as a police car.
