KLM is Cancelling Several Flights to China Due to Testing Obligation
KLM has cancelled several flights to China due to stricter corona measures in the country. The airline confirms this after earlier reports.
The Chinese authorities have been demanding since Thursday that the crew of an aircraft must be able to submit a double negative corona test.
Not only a negative PCR test is now required upon arrival, but also a rapid test. KLM is now investigating the consequences for the airline’s flights to China in the near future.
Earlier this week, KLM had to cancel 200 flights due to the flight ban to the United Kingdom, South Africa and South America. Most of those flights went to the United Kingdom.
