European Corona Pass Also Usable in Morocco and Israel
Morocco, Israel and five other countries now also recognize the European corona certificate. The EU citizens with such a pass can therefore travel to these countries outside the European Union without any worries. The EU, in turn, accepts the certificates they issue.
In addition to Morocco and Israel, Albania, Monaco, Andorra, the Faroe Islands, and Panama join. This brings the number of countries where the certificate, which works with a QR code, can be used to 42.
With the certificate, the wearer can show that there is a small chance that he is carrying the coronavirus because he has been fully vaccinated, has recovered from a corona infection or has recently tested negative.
The European Commission hopes to get it recognized in as many countries as possible to get travel going again.
