Mayor of the Ukrainian City of Bucha: More Than 400 Dead Found

Read Time:37 Second

According to the mayor, the bodies of 403 people who were allegedly killed by Russian troops during the occupation of the area have so far been found in the Ukrainian city of Bucha.

Anatoli Fedoruk said at a briefing that the death toll is still rising and stressed that it is too early for residents to return. Moreover, the numbers Fedoruk mentions are not verifiable.

Ukraine accuses the Russian army of large-scale atrocities and massacres in Bucha, a suburb of Kyiv. The Kremlin denies it, saying that Ukraine staged the shocking images that emerged from the city.

According to state news agency TASS, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters on Tuesday that the photos of deceased people in the Ukrainian city are “fake”.
