The Number of Coronavirus Deaths Has Increased by 531 in France
The number of coronavirus deaths has increased by 531 in French hospitals and health care facilities in the past 24 hours.
Jérôme Salomon, the director of the Public Health Service, announced this on Tuesday.
In total, 20,796 people have now died from the disease in France. Only the US, Italy and Spain had more.
Salomon said at a news conference that the epidemic in France is still “huge”.
However, the number of infected who ended up in the hospital fell again, as did the number of patients in intensive care.
That is still 5433, comparable to the situation on March 30.
