Number of Corona Deaths in British Hospitals Approaching 19,000

In British hospitals, 616 patients with the coronavirus have died in the past 24 hours. The official death toll now stands at 18,738, the Ministry of Health reports.
Many more people in the country are believed to have died from the virus.
Suspicious deaths in nursing homes are not included in the daily death toll update. Other countries do report this.
In the UK, nearly 426,000 people have been tested for the coronavirus so far. Of these, more than 138,000 people were found to have the virus.
Prominent Britons such as Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Prince Charles have also been infected earlier.
