The Number of New Corona Infections in Germany is Rebounding

In Germany, a further 1,278 people were diagnosed with the new coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
That reports the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the German equivalent of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM).
This again represents a significant increase compared to Sunday (+782) and Monday (+711).
The number of new infections is considerably lower than on Saturday. Then the RKI reported the highest number since April with 2034 new infections.
The figures are generally lower on weekends because new infections are less often passed on directly.
In total, the coronavirus has been diagnosed in 234,853 people in Germany. With five more corona deaths in the last 24 hours, the total German death toll comes to 9277.
