Twitter went down on the New York stock exchange on Thursday. Investors put the stock at the opening of trading almost 4 percent lower after the significant hack at the company.

 

On Wall Street, attention continued to focus on a stock of operating results and new figures on the economy. The leading indicators also started in the min.

Scammers have hijacked the Twitter accounts of several prominent companies and large companies for some time.

Donations in bitcoins have been requested on the accounts of companies such as Apple and Uber and prominent figures such as rapper Kanye West, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and billionaires Bill Gates, Michael Bloomberg, Amazon boss Jeff Bezos and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Shortly after the opening bell, the Dow-Jones index fell 0.7 percent to 26,690 points. The wide S&P 500 lost 0.8 percent to 3199 points, and technology gauge Nasdaq dropped 1.3 percent to 10,419 points.
